Brenda considers herself a content woman, who has been fortunate enough to never have been married or involved in any kind of relationship. She wonders why she would need to let another person into her life when she is already happy on her own, with her cat and her cozy house where she can spend endless days without ever needing to leave. However, recently she crossed paths with the barbaric Bellamy, and the unthinkable happened – Brenda fell in love.
Will this new relationship make her realize that she has been missing out on something important in life, or will it just confirm her belief that love is only for fools?..

As a teacher who has spent her entire career working with children, Josephine believes she may have figured out what caused the crack in their family’s peace. It all comes down to imbalance: she and George were so focused on Chris that they overlooked Chrissie’s feelings of worthiness. Now, Chrissie is seeking love and attention by taking on all the responsibilities and playing the victim, trying to prove she deserves more love than Chris. Or maybe it’s just a case of one child being irresponsible and the other taking the blame. Either way, something feels off. Josephine just wants things to go back to normal and for her babies to live in peace again…
