Charlotte misses the good old days back on the farm when the kids were little and she didn’t have to worry about anything except their grades and the other kids bullying them at school for not being as wealthy. On one hand, things are easier now with this lovely house and a healthy bank account, but there’s a downside. It seems like Tamara and Timothy don’t see the point in doing anything anymore. Tamara is at least working towards something profitable, but Timothy seems completely lost. He treats his career like a hobby he could abandon at any moment. Where did Charlotte and Justin go wrong in raising their babies?..

Alaina tries to be kind to Ray because she feels like she knows him a little bit, but deep down she can’t believe what a fool she’s been. Ironically, her own parents broke up in a similar way when she was young, so she should have known better than to become a married man’s mistress. But hey, what’s done is done and there’s no going back now. Alaina does hope to talk things out with Mandy once she calms down, but at least she doesn’t feel as lonely living here now that Ray is around…

Ray messed up and he admits it. He also acknowledges that moving into Alaina’s house may not have been the best idea for his reputation, but renting a crappy little apartment wasn’t appealing to him. Let’s be real. And what’s Mandys deal? Couldn’t she just chill out for a minute and hear him out? He doesn’t have any great excuses, but seriously, why all the unnecessary drama? And even though he wouldn’t exactly call himself a family guy, he’d like to see Melanie every now and then, even though she seems mad at him too. Oh well, maybe Ray can use this boycott his old family is doing as a chance to pick up the pieces of his life and make something good out of them. At least Alaina has his back, so that’s a good start…
