Dennis is feeling pretty good about himself these days. He’s proud of the career he’s chosen, the fact that he’s been able to move out from his parents’ place, buy a house, and raise his kid the way he wants to. These might seem like normal decisions to some, but for Dennis, they feel like major victories. He’s the oldest of three siblings, and he’s had to deal with more criticism than his brother and sister combined. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Lorine’s support, he might still be living in his old room at his parents’ house, working some dead-end job.
But now Lorine keeps bringing up more changes, and Dennis is feeling a bit overwhelmed. He’s grateful for her support, but he needs some time to recharge before taking on anything else. He’s wondering why everyone around him seems to be pressuring him so much nowadays…
