Alla considers herself a true survivor, having handled the entire immigration process on her own and raising her son without any help. Anton has grown into a handsome and intelligent man, but his mother still feels the need to take care of him as she believes it’s time for him to take on the role of a husband and hopefully a father. Does Anton have anything to say about that? He might, but he knows better than to go against his mother’s carefully calculated plans. He’d rather play along, at least until things get too ridiculous.
